Xbox One and new desktop issues

New Desktop Experience so far: it's more slow than before, YouTube app crashes system to a cold boot on every attempt, Smartglass app has lost A button, typing, and scroll functionality. Got to say I was disappointed with XB1's quality. If I were to give
a rating based on all the Xbox preview videos promised before launch compared to what was delivered, it would have to be a 5/10. Just before the desktop "upgrade", my vote would have been 7.5/10. I just need to ask, do you try this stuff BEFORE you release
it, or are you like Hillary and say "we need to release this to see if it works?" Also I suspect that there is a memory leak in the Internet Explorer app. When on a website that uses (Flash?) such as Songza.com, after about 10-15 minutes the app crashes to
the dashboard. I'm not a programmer (I've dabbled) but my guess from experience is that the issue is either with the memory in IE or with the interaction between Flash and IE. Perhaps Flash is hoarding outdated information until either the memory is exhausted
or the flash object is unloaded.

Please be aware that although harsh, these words are hard to type. I have been a loyal Microsoft customer since they entered the console market, and even longer in regards to PCs. My loyalty has not waivered to this day because I see a lot of untapped
potential in the Xbox One and ESPECIALLY thanks to the new Elite controller. Your ideas are wonderful, but the records show your delivery needs improvement. !!! (FYI: Microsoft gets a pardon for the OS catastrophe just before launch) !!!

On a side note and to finish up, I was unable to find a proper support page on this site. There are FAQs and directories, but nowhere does it offer to talk to someone live.

Smartglass: Tried resetting app (force stop, start up), no change. Tried reinstalling app (made sure was for One, not 360) no change.

YouTube: same as above

Password and Desktop Issues

I do not want to sign into Xbox every single time I want to play Solitaire. It is so frustratingly painful. Also I want to play through my desktop and I can't find a way to do this. Please make this more user friendly to access or tell me how to fix these
problems.

Your problem sounds like its for the windows 8 version of solitaire.

You would be better off posting in the PC Games forum which can be accessed via the drop down menu above.

The preview program forums are the best place to give your feedback, they are also good for help and info.

Hi, FeRox 96, you have to remember you are using the preview version of the dashboard, which is still in beta, you agreed to download the preview dashboard and was told that bugs and issues may arise. So you are going to find a few bugs. The best thing
you can do is post this in the early access forums for the Xbox One and the preview support team will be able to help you with these issues and fix them before general public release.
