Xbox One and Direct Tv

Discus and support Xbox One and Direct Tv in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi. I want to connect my Xbox to my Direct TV box but the Direct TV box does not have an HDMI port all it has is AV plugs. Does anyone know of a cable...     Xbox One and Direct Tv


    Hi. I want to connect my Xbox to my Direct TV box but the Direct TV box does not have an HDMI port all it has is AV plugs. Does anyone know of a cable or converter that will allow me to connect my Direct TV service to my Xbox one. Thank you

    I can get the xbox to recognize my TV but not my direct TV STB. I have the Direct TV HR24-200 HD DVR. I can see the picture, I can get to the guide, however I cannot get it to change channels. Any help would be appreciated.

    I would recommend trying the steps in our article for
    OneGuide can't control devices    .

    Please let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.

    No you have to hook through with an HDMI cable. My suggestion to you would be to definitely call DirecTV and tell them to update your equipment, as it sounds like it has not been updated in quite a long time. I have had directv for 5 years and have never
    had a box that had AV plugs.

    Did you get the problem resolved? I have direct TV too & the XB One is controlling the direct TV box perfectly.
