    Hello Everyone

    i just got my xbox one today but unlike the 360 the xbox one doesnt has any sound cable with it, i would like to connect my xbox one to my old fashion surround set

    but the xbox one diddnt deliver the cable

    what do you guys think will be the best option for me? since my surround set uses an AV plugin do i just get HDMI4 to AV cable? or is there an easyer way?

    I really doubt the cable will work. Have you tried it?

    HDMI is digital and an RCA cable is not. Doing some research it seems to support my thinking. I guess you can try it and see. They are cheap enough.

    Hey there Stealth Snakey!

    Here is a link that you can look at about hooking up you xbox one to your surround sound.

    Now on the xbox one there is no A/V cable connections, you can try to use a hdmi to av cable. Keep in mind that third party cables like that may not work properly with your setup. I would recommend upgrading you surround sound (a/v receiver) to one that
    does have the hdmi setup.

    There is one alternative though, look at this link for Xbox one audio setup.

    This setup only requires an audio cable, which could be way simpler but you might loose some of the audio quality.

    thank you for your awnser i will try the hdmi4 to AV cable first and if that doesnt work ill try the second option, ill post it here so other ppl can read if it works XBOX ONE and cables ;)

    No. It functions via HDMI in, if you're not feeding a signal via the HDMI in then there is nothing to view. I imagine converters for a bunch of tv signal styles are in the works though.
