    Hi. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem as I'm abit peed about it. I have a astro a40 system which was purchased in 2009 for 300ish pounds. Got my xbox one on day one. Did the headset mod in jan. Worked great!!! Purchased the official headset
    adaptor the day in came out. Again worked great. Played many an hour on titanfall in April/ may. Had a break from mp gaming early may. Last week I tried to join a party chat. I could hear the game sounds and the people in the party but they couldn't hear me.
    Odd I thought. Hmmm maybe the chat wire. Purchased a new one. Tried it again last night still not working. checked the party screen and the little green icon wasn't flashing. I thought I'd try my Xbox 360. A40s Worked fine in party chat. Tried my pc, again
    fine. Emailed astro and they have said it is because the mixamp needs an update to work with the xbox one but the pre 2013 Mixamp can not be upgraded. They offered my 15% off a new 2013 Mixamp. Hmmm I would have to pay around 90 pounds for a item I have already
    purchased. I don't understand what changed from April to July ? as I said it was fine before. Anyone got any ideas? I'm not happy with ms or astro really.

    Xbox one and astro a40

    A friend of mine had this problem, turned out that his kinectt could not see his controller and disabled the chat channel. Not saying that's the issue but make sure your kinect has good line of sight to your controller when you play.

    Read on astro that it was due to the June or July update. Wtf. Why release summit that breaks summit that was working. Scam to get people to pump money in astro.

    Could use the official headset adapter and just plug the stereo mic cable for the A40 into the adapter. You lose "surround", but supposedly headset surround is coming in a later update, obviating the need for anything connected to the console's optical out.

    Xbox one and astro a40

    So don't plug the chat cable in just the main astro lead into the official. I will try that now.

    Astro A40s TR ready. Ive had turtle beaches,razer heatsets Astro A40s are still my go to.

    all i can say is make sure you update them before using them also if you want the best then go with ASTRO i use ASTRO A40's got them in 2011 and work fine im getting the new GEN 2 astro a40's next week they say they work for ps4 but they work fine with xbox
    one you just need a mic cable and chat adaptor the mic cable is £6you can also get wireless astros which are the a50's also if you dont care for 5.1 or 7.1 then the astro a40's built for xbox one and the mix amp is on the controller they are £170 and stereo

    What headset do you guy's and girl's use?

    I use astro a40's 2011 edition at the moment but looking at new ones. Dont want wireless as i dont want to be limited by charging etc. so it is either the a40's with mix amp pro or the a40's xbox one editions
