xbox one and 4tb external not uninstlijg data and call of duty crashi

Hi, I recently purchased the seagate 4tb hard drive for my xbox one. I followed all the instructions to the letter with formatting and copying game data. All seems to have worked and is successful. I have been playing digital and disc based games. But recently
the games were asking me to reinstall when I tried to copy the game over to the external. Which I promptly done with every one that was needed. This took a while hut was completed. I recently installed the new map pack for call of duty ghosts which completed
but there was also an update for the game which also downloaded. Since then I have not been able to play the game. It has been on the main title and not progressing any further. It keeps jumping back to the same load page. I have then checked the game management
and was having a few problems with 2 data's. The first is the voice over drill instructor. This is on the internal and won't copy or unusually. This also says installation stopped when attempting to copy or move. The next is the devastation map pack but this
is on external. And the same happens if I try to move or copy.

I have units talked everything else including the 40 gb game itself but nothing is working.

I have signed out and when booting the game it goes to the menu then asks for my profile which I have done it then syncs up but goes to the loading screen and won't progress.

Please could you let me know if this can be resolved or if there's a way I can delete the 2 game data dlc and reinstall. The uninstall option does not work.

I have also deleted the save data off the system and this just resync back in and crashed.

    Many

    :)

transfer from 1 external hdd to another

I have a Xbox One S with an external Seagate 2tb External HDD used for storage. I recently picked up a 4tb seagate external HDD. I would like to transfer all the data and saved games to the 4tb HDD i just go and use that as storage instead. I am looking
for directions on how to do so.

    Transferring data to another Hardrive

I had a thought on if there was another way to get data (say you want the 1TB Xbox One bundle with Call of Duty Advance Warfare) then getting an external hard drive to save data and put it on the other console.? Like the cloud and how if so?

Storage Alternatives for XBOX versus internal drive

I've seen a lot of discussions and questions about losing games and data when a XBOX unfortunately crashes and may need replacement. Saved game data is usually lost. An alternative is an external hard drive for your XBOX. I personally use 2 external
hard drives for all of my storage needs versus using the internal hard drive. My first external drive I started with was a Seagate 4TB External Hard drive. It plugs directly into a USB port on the back of my XBOX One X and then I added a Seagate 8TB External
Hard drive. Then I simply went into Settings, then storage then set the 8TB as my default drive with the 4TB as a secondary. This has multiple benefits as you not only have your games and data separate in case of XBOX failure but you can also take the drive
with you to other locations and play the games on another XBOX. :)
This is what i tell any1 that asks

Also, I have 2 external drives, I tried to move the game to an 4TB external, and it says it can't be played from an external, not even on the One S.

    Hard drives

    Hiya!

Yes, I am currently running two Seagate External Drives on my XBOX One X. One is a 4TB and the other is an 8Tb. :)

    Happy Gaming!!
