    Hey,

    I sold my 360 when I got my Xbox One but all my friends still have 360s. Since backwards compatibility has come out, I was wondering if anyone knows whether I could perform a System Link between a friend's 360 and
    my One for Reach. I know the One practically emulates a 360, (startup, press start and select to access Xbox 360 menu, etc.) and I was wondering if that extended to a System Link.



    Just want to know if it is possible or not,

    I will add another note: When I (and my 20 fellow LANers) were deciding which of the next gen consoles were were going to purchase (XBox One or PS4) I can tell you straight up that we would have chosen whichever console had a system link type facility. As
    it turns out, neither of them did. I find it curious that a company would decide to drop a feature that could potentially give them an edge over the competition in what is a fairly cut throat market. It's not like they had to plan and design it from scratch.

    In the end I purchased an Xbox one because of some notion of loyalty. I don't feel that loyalty is being reciprocated.

    Titanfall runs server-side. Without the servers, there is no Titanfall. It's not an offline game.

    It's an acknowledgement by the developer and publisher community
    that the feature's cost does not generate enough revenue to be worth pursuing any longer.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We understand have issues when linking a Xbox 360 to an Xbox 0ne. When you set this up, have you had the Xbox 360 and Xbox one connected via an ethernet cable? Also on the Xbox one, is the game updated exactly
    the same as the Xbox 360? The best thing I found would be to have all consoles connected via ethernet to your router for the system link. Here is a link for

    Hey RemovedThyme737! You need to be on the same network to utilize system link. To allow the two to play together, you would need to use Xbox Live and connect through the internet. Thanks!

    Borderlands Xbox One system link to 360

    System link between the 360 and Xbox One works extremely well.

    Launch the game on both systems, but do not choose anything just yet. Now plug in your system link cable and off you go.

    If you try to plug in the system link cable before launching the game, the X1 will not be in 360 mode and will launch into 'set up wired connection mode.' You don't want that.
