Xbox one and 360 not transferred to New console

Hi there, I have recently replaced my faulty Xbox 360 with a new Xbox one halo 5 edition console over Christmas, the old 360's 120 gig hard drive failed and I lost all of the games and saves I had on it, I had always intended to upgrade to Xbox one so I
picked up all the Xbox one games with gold as they came available and the 360 games to, the problem is that not all the games where available when I moved my gamer tag over to the new console.

Operation Flashpoint, Scared 3, Metal gear solid etc and some others that I thought really should have come over with the old account where not showing. I called tech support and they suggested I post on here as they could not help me.

Hope there is something that can be done as I can see many of the games in the store but they are now a charge, I know I should have used the cloud for saves on the 360 and the lost of all that is on me but I assumed that as I paid for Gold that there should
be a history showing I had gotten these games and should not be expected to pay

Any assistance would be appreciated -

My online character was transferred but my single player wasn't

The online follows the rockstar cloud, which can go from XBOX 360 to XBOX 360, in this case old gen to new gen, XBOX 360 to XBOX One/PS4.

The single player follows the hard drive, and can only be transferred from XBOX 360 to XBOX 360. The single player mode can not be transferred to the new gen consoles.

License migration limits

With the xbox 360 the game licenses went with the consoles themselves not with the accounts like on the one systems and games.

The thing is this with the 360s if you got a new 360 and license transferred your games to that one then the license on the 360 that you sold would no longer be valid because you at that point would have transferred the license for the games to the new console

Hi there,

please be sure to check what games are shown in the Ready to Install section, to see if those games are present there.

The Ready to Install section can be found within the My Games & Apps App in the Game section all the way to the right. It may take a couple of seconds to show up.

If they do not show there be sure to check your download history at
live.xbox.com/.../history to see if the Games are shown there.

If they aren't there either and you are 100% sure you bought the games via the account you are using, then you will need to contact Xbox Support (By Phone) again they should be able to take a more in depth look.

Yes, I would suggest trying it with a new HDD and see if that behaves itself. YOu can transfer the content from your old drive onto the new one with this! Xbox

A possible issue here is that the licenses are not currently attached to that console. I'm not sure if, when you refer to it as your "old 360", you mean you have a new 360 or that you just don't use it now that you have an Xbox One. If you have a new 360,
you likely transferred your new console (or if you had a previous 360, you may not have transferred the licenses onto the one that she is using). Follow this link to see how to transfer licenses from one console to another:

Hey there Unkown! That's because license transfers aren't used for sharing DLC/Games without paying for them. The purpose of a license transfer is to transfer ownership of content from one console to another console; not to transfer ownership from one account
to another.

For example, proper use of a license transfer would be: You have an original Xbox 360 console and you buy an Xbox 360 S console. You then use a license transfer to transfer ownership of all of your DLC from your original console to your new console.
