Xbox One and 360 conflict issues

Hi. Need help with an issues re consoles. Have an Xbox 1 hooked up in lounge connected to xbox live through wireless connection. Xbox 360 connected via Ethernet in bedroom. Both belong to my sons and have different live accounts with separate profilers.
Both are connected to the same home network. When the xbox one is being used, the xbox 360 keeps dropping out re connection. Have tried everything to resolve, but no luck. 360 is connected through a power line adaptor so not sure if that is the problem.
Anyone else experienced this as it is becoming quite frustrating for the kids concerned.

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?

Things you have tried:

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?

Could you also tell us if you have manually forwarded (Port Forwarding/Virtual Server) network ports used by Xbox LIVE or DMZ. If so, for which console have you configured such setup?

Xbox One and Xbox 360 Conflict?

Today when I went to set up the port it was already setup with their own ports.

 

Hey there, I have both consoles and have never had this issue or hear of it. Can you tell us a little more about your issue? You may also have better luck posting in the support forums at

When both consoles are on at same time over the home internet connection one continually drops out. All the forums say that both cannot be on the same internet connection at the same time unless setting changes are made to the modem/router. None work.
Seems strange that 2 products cause conflicts when connected the same, given that on the same network are 4 computers, 4 phones, ipads and tablets operating simultaneously.

 

have you tried one wireless and the other wired?

 

Unless you are using static IP addresses and have assigned open ports to one of your Xbox's enabling UPnP should prevent problems. If you have opened ports for one IP address they cannot be open for your second Xbox too.

In this house we have three Xbox 360's and two Xbox Ones without any issues. All have DCHP issued IP addresses, no assigned ports and UPnP enabled with zero issues
