    XBOX ONE and 360 accessories on PC


    All xbox accessories have issues when you plug them into a USB 3.0 indicated in blue plug-in not gray. When plugged into a USB 2.0 all is well.

    Is the controller an Xbox One controller or an Xbox 360 controller, and have you followed the

    Xbox One PC controller guide    , or the
    Xbox 360 controller guide    ?

    I haven't noticed any difference.

    What works on USB2.0, works on USB3.0 either.

    What doesn't work on USB3.0, doeasn't work on USB2.0 as well.

    Problem with serial number !

    You can only register Console/Kinect devices. You can place service requests for accessories if you have a registered console (Xbox One for Xbox One accessories and Xbox 360 for 360 accessories). If you don't own the relevant console and don't have one registered
    (accessory was purchased for PC) then keep the proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) and contact Xbox Support if you need service for the accessory in question. Based on that proof of purchase they should be able to help you.
