XBOX One and 1080P/60fps

The original poster is right MS should come out with what the xboxone can do.

We all know now the Xboxone is not or never will match the ps4 for grunt!! no matter what MS spout about power of the cloud which they have gone very quiet on now.

Reason Sony is doing so well cheaper + more powerful 90% of gamers do not care about tv through a console or kinect.

I'm holding off from buying xboxone until cheaper have no need for kinect so will not pay for something i will not use.

So my choice went to Sony on paper by far the best option on release of these next gen consoles.

First time in years that my gold has not be renewed thats MS fault poor PR and anti gamer stance at the start.

No you will not get 1080p and 60fps with each xboxone game.

Unless it's not very demanding like trine, rayman or a racing game.

 

First off KZSF runs at 30 frames and even COD developer admitted their engine was 2 blame... second all those PS4 titles that were patched 2 1080p have huge problems and frame drops... Ghosts AC4 and Fifa to name a few and if it's that big of a deal go to
PS4 and enjoy the crappy PS Plus service...

Give it time for developers to get to grips the the xb1 hardware.

It's still early days. eventually more and more games will get 1080p at 60hz.

You only have to look what happened to the ps3 to see this. Originally ps3 games were always inferior to the xbox 360 version and then when developers got used to the hardware it got to the point where you couldn't see much difference at all between versions.

 

I get so sick of this resolution frame rate debate I'm about ready for my head too explode, yes PS4 games are tuning higher native resolutions so who cares! Not the 3.5 million Xbox one customers who bought it, second PS4 just recently had the following
games capped via Patches from 60 to 30 frames: Killzone shadow fall (option but may end up permanent) Fifa 14, NBA Live, And the following Gen 2 PS4 titles are tuning at 30 frames: Infamous second son, The order 1886, The Witcher 3, And Deep down... As well
as MGS4 both titles... So ya go to PC please, and will a mod lock this thread?

Also far too many people forget what ESRAM and Tiled resources will do for Xbox one over PS4, the fact that all the new Video cards are launching with ESRAM means Xbox one called it just like 360 did with multi core CPUs, and embedded memory on video cards...
PS4 not only dose not have ESRAM that hads double the bandwidth of GDDR5 RAM, and almost the same speed it has no tiled resources too use ethier... Sense everything is moving to ESRAM, and Tiled resources in the next 2 generations of Games Xbox one will pull
ahead by leaps and bounds... It will also make video cards for PCs cheaper because they do with 2 GBs of on board ESRAM what would take 6GB to render...

 

The Xbox One IS capable of 1080p and 60fps. It's up to developers to use that capability.

 

There's already proof in current Gen games of this new gan of consoles, BF4 looks better and has more detail on Xbox one, Ryse sports the same detail, Tomb Raider runs at lower frames, but has double the detail on her hair and skin, Forza also shows this
off with the fabric detail, and self lighting glint of glass, and car paint... All things PS4 must sacrifice for higher frames...

 

No, I agree with the OP. I am fortunate enough to own both systems and both systems will come with exclusive games which will no doubt be console sellers... But it's the 3rd party games that both systems will carry which will allow me to make a choice
on which game system copy to purchase for.

Every one knows by now.. The XBOXONE is a lesser machine becuase of Don Mattrick backwards thinking and he is responsible for the direction XBOX finds themselves in now. Nobody wanted a multie media all in one console. They wanted a NEXT GEN gaming
console.

Soon as MS figures that out.. they can rejoin the console wars with XBOX ONE-Plus

SCRAP manufacturing of XBONE and start on on the Plus version and FIX this stupid mess you created.
