    Xbox one always updating


    Hi,

    I am having some issues about by Xbox one console updates.

    Since about 2 weeks ago (maybe a little more), every time that I open my Xbox one console there is an 360 MB update to do (everyday). It look like it's the same update since it's always 360 Mb. It happen at least 8-9 times yet.

    My console version is 6.2.11391.0 (xb_rel_1408_140806-2308)

    Is this a known issue and is there a way to fix it? I am tired of waiting half an hour every time I want to use my console.

    Buying an Xbox one

    My PS3 is always on and it does all the background updating. So it makes sense to have the Xbox One on all the time too.

    I have seen your post in the preview, yes it was a known issue there is info in announcements in the preview forums.

    Always an update

    Go into your settings and change it to Instant On mode. The console will update while it is off and you'll rarely ever notice them.

    Sounds expensive. Now more than ever considering the price I've paid for the console. No warranty as it is so old. Offline Update fails right away anyways. Might as well use it as a door stopper. $499.00 down the drain.

    As long as the external hard drive is formatted to NTFS and the files are extracted, OSU1 should work though. But in case the issue still persist even after trying that, sorry but your console needs a service already.
