Xbox One Always Laggy

Hello,

I bought an xbox one two months ago and i love it. I went on vacation last week and got home a couple days ago. And ever since I got back I literally cannot play any game on xbox live without lagging. I can't connect to parties or anything. When I run
tests everything says its fine. I do not know how to fix this problem cause all i wanna do is get back online and play my games again. Is this something with the console or with my connection? Because like i said it was working perfectly fine for two months
up until I got back on vacation and turned it on and tried to play.

Tomb Raider achievements are broken, I think?

I always feel that the Xbox One achievement notification is slightly laggy. I miss the Xbox 360 notification, it felt instant to me.

 

FIX SPARTAN OPS

I agree Spartan Ops is a laggy, laggy mess. War Games is always fine for me, but S OPS is laggy quite often. My other games are fine, just not that.

It could be a number of different factors, so I'll give you a few things to try.

Firstly, try giving you console a hard reset. You can do this by having the console on, then holding the power button down for 10seconds until the console switches off. Wait a minute or two, then turn it back on and see how it goes.

If that doesn't help, i'd try reseting your modem. Which you can do by switching it completely off, leaving it for a couple of minutes, then switching it on again. Try that, and see if that helps.

Lastly, failing those two options, try using these troubleshooting steps to see if that will help anything:

support.xbox.com/.../network-settings

That link contains a few different tips and suggestions, as well as further links to other pages that will also hopefully help you out.

If none of that works, let us know and we can see if there is anything else that can be done

Thank you for the reply, I have tried some of the methods that you said a couple times before. And I did try them again but it is still laggy everytime I join a multiplayer game. Then I went to the Link in your reply and tested everything out and tried some
new stuff and it is still acting up. I don't understand what could be wrong. Cause everything in my house is running perfectly fine on our wifi except my xbox. Could it be something internally wrong with my xbox?

No problems

It could well be something wrong with the Xbox, being a dodgey wifi receiver or something like that. I'm not sure of the inner workings of the machine, so hard to say. You would be able to tell though, by plugging it in VIA the Ethernet cord, if that solves
the problems, then chances are its a problem with the wifi receiver. I'd give that a shot and see how you go
