    I had the common issue where many people reported losing their video and needing to hard reset in order to bring it back up. I requested an Advanced Exchange unit, but it had the same issue--leading me to believe it was software and I got authorization
    to send the replacement unit back and keep my original.

    I received the replacement on 2/21/14, and sent it back using the supplied box and shipping label on 2/26/14. Due to my work hours, I had to use a FedEx drop box (so no, I won't have a tracking number)--FedEx verified to me that they scanned it into their
    system on 2/27/14. Microsoft never received the unit (they charged me $534 on 3/16) and FedEx told me that they'll need to open a claim. I called Xbox support and explained this to them, even giving them the name of the FedEx agent I spoke with. No one
    at Xbox contacted Fedex. I called multiple times later. No on called. Someone at Xbox escalated the complaint, and after a week I received an email--no one called FedEx. Not only that, everyone has been ignoring my instructions. I waited a few days--no
    reply. I replied again stating that I'm seeking legal counsel and--imagine that--received a quick reply from the agent who was more than happy to tell me he was closing the service request and all communication with me. I was never rude, and I never swore
    or threatened anyone.

    Right now, Xbox still has my money, even though FedEx has the console. I can't start a claim with FedEx, and Xbox won't either. I don't have the unit, nor any rights to get my money, and I received an email stating that, in other words, no one cares.

    Anyone have any advice? This should've been an easy fix--Microsoft should be dealing with FedEx and I should've had my money refunded. I can't control FedEx. I'm down $534 and will now fall behind on other bills starting this month.

    Advanced Exchange for Poland (after official release)?

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if I will be able to use so called Advanced Exchange in my case, which is:

    I already have Xbox One but it suffers controller dicsonnections issue, that's why I would like to exchange it.

    Will there be an Advanced Exchange option after Xbox One will be officially released here in Poland for my Xbox One (which was brought from Germany or UK - I'm not sure)?

    I'm in the same boat. Believe it or not the only ones that finally helped me were Xbox support twitter. At first they just ask you a string of pointless questions and they tell you to wait. Eventually if you keep contacting them they will try and help. This
    company has gone off the deep end. Just stick with it. Keep calling. You may have to sue them.

    I am astounded Who Dey 0524 at the situation your going through. Frankly because the agent you spoke with should've went over this information:

    The no video with audio issue on the xbox one started occurring after the update in February. By pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds fixes the issue, it does reset the console fully but it also clears the system cache (which does the fix).
    As far as I can tell, the advanced exchange isn't even necessary. Although, you would've wanted to still send the old console back to avoid the charge. An escalation is needed on Microsoft's end to resolve this issue, you should be able to myservice.xbox.com
    and sign with your Microsoft account. There may be tracking information there that will be needed to escalate you.

    Same thing here, had to return the non working unit they sent me to replace my day one unit. Say that I shouldn't have sent that one back that I should have sent my day one back first. now they are " looking " for the one I sent back before they can take
    off the charge and replace my original one . I get the feeling their going to say they can't find it! You should be able to contact your credit card and dispute the charge. Microsoft is really *** up.
