Xbox one adaptive controller issue.

I'm having issues with a new xbox controller I bought, I bought it brand new.

Day one: connected for half an hour them started randomly disconnecting and would not reconnect until I reset the battery pack, then would disconnect after about 4 seconds.

After that, it stopped disconnecting for about 3 days and started back again, it fixed itself after a bit, but now after 2 weeks its started again, and this time, if I move the controller or put something in front of it, it disconnects. I've got the controller
less than 3 feet away from the xbox and it is still disconnecting, even tried resetting the connection via the connect button on the xbox and controller, and even plugged it in and updated it through the xbox.. nothing is working.

I'm getting annoyed as my other controller before this, I dropped it while reorganizing, and broke the bumper, screwed the joystick, I'm stuck with two defunct controllers now, and one shouldnt be wonky at all.

If anyone had a fix that won't require me to spend money, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to use the adaptive controller alone or with the
co-pilot feature?
What
external devices / accessories are you using with the Xbox Adaptive Controller?

with the Adaptive controller?

Hey David,

First thing that comes to mind would be Using co pilot along side the adaptive controller. Co- pilot allows 2 different controllers to control player one,
And it works perfectly along side the adaptive controller. Aside from that, here are some helpful links to check out if you haven't already :
