xbox one adapter sucks

I bought astro a50's and waited for the adapter on the 7th. i hooked them up and do everything ASTRO says to do. sounds great, but chat from my end to others sound extremely staticy.

so i thought maybe ASTRO wasnt up to date with the adapter yet, so i hooked up my x42 turtle beaches same problems.

so i say whatever i'll go buy an xbox one exculsive headset, so i buy the turtle beaches xo sevens, thinking i will get rid of the adapter an i won't have a problem.

NOPE, the headset was susposedly built from the ground up to work with the xbox one. and still requires the adapter? whatever i think, and try them out. same exact thing. my voice extreamly static y to the other players

so microsoft. i have try'ed 3 extreamly pricey headsets. 2 that should work. and one built exclusivy for the ONE. and all have horriable chat to others.

so to solve your problem and stop pushing blame to other companies, its on your end.

and before you start spewing did you try this, did you update that. the answer is yes. controller update, firmware update, changed audio settings.

the problem is the crappy adapter. so what are you going to do to fix this.

I wonder if anybody that has a legacy headset similar to the Turtle Beach X12s that include a Dolby Digital processor plug in is having the same issues as those who are trying to use Legacy headsets directly to the adapter? It sounds like the firmware update
is the problem. You would think that MS would test this before releasing to the public. I'm going to get an adapter tomorrow to see if my setup has the same issues.

What *** me off is why any adaptors/cables at all??? 500 dollar system, next gen system, etc.. With Bluetooth technology where it is now ... Wires should be a thing of the past when it comes to chat,and headsets... What they are going to have to do is allow
turtle beach and astro, or whatever headphone maker have access to the plug that goes directly into the controller.. I expect a lot more from a system like this.. Very disappointed..

This problem is widespread and I believe it is a problem with Microsoft. After doing some research, the only solution that appears to work is by having a stereo headset adapter such as this
one.

I personally haven't had any problems with headsets, it is just luck of the draw. It really sucks.

I defend it and I never quickscope. ^^ you sir just seem to be the one who sucks because you get caught by gimmicks in the gameplay. Adapt and be better, or come here and complain.

The only workaround is to buy any other external N adapter other than Microsoft Xbox external N Adapter, and it will work with the linksys e4200. This really sucks $100 xbox N adapter is the only thing that has a problem, even the internal 2.4 Ghz N adapter
on the xbox slim has no problem connecting.. Linksys and Microsoft need to work something out to get the external N adapter working. Microsoft changed something on the external N 5Ghz adapter, because it cannot connect to 2.4 Ghz N, but the internal xbox N
adapter can connect. Its the year 2011 and it feels like we went backwards to 2001. These companies are selling beta products, products that should not be released to the public. LINKSYS CISCO AND MICROSOFT FIX YOUR PRODUCTS...
