Xbox One adapter problems

I have an xbox one adapter and a wireless controller, everythin works fine with my Turltle Beaches x42's but when I use my beats earbuds anyone I am talking to hears a buzzing noise but I don't i hear them perfectly and when I mute the adapter or mic they
don't hear the buzzing. How can I fix this?

Headset adapter issue.

Hiya,

I recently purchased the xbox stereo headset adapter so that I could use my turtle beach with the xbox one (its listed as being compatible as long as you have the adapter).

I updated my controller when I was prompted to so that I could use the adapter the problem is that when I plug my headset in it doesn't appear to be recognized as being able to be used for mic chat.

I can hear other peoples voices through my turtle beach but can't communicate back with it. The headset that came with my xbox one works fine using a similar adapter(the one attached) so not really sure what the problem is.

Any ideas/advice much appreciated as its quite annoying having to use the headset that came with the xbox (always preferred TB headsets).

Do the beat's earbuds have in-line controls? If so, that's probably the issue. I've found earbuds with in-line media controls to be pretty hit-or-miss when it comes to the issue your experiencing there.

I contacted the technical support.

The problem will not get fixed. They will release a new wireless adapter next year, which will probably solve the problem. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/adapters/wireless-adapter-windows

No problem! To answer your second question, yes the power adapter is compatible for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 and is the only Kinect adapter available. You can use the adapter to connect a Kinect for Xbox One to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One
X or you can use the adapter to connect either a Kinect for Xbox One or Kinect for Windows v2 to a Windows 10 PC.

Problem solved! The adapter that Amazon sent me was for the Xbox One, and not the Xbox 360. Thanks All.
