Xbox One Adapter Issue / Live Streaming with Capture Card

I've been live streaming with my Xbox One with a capture card and Xsplit since launch and have been using the Kinect as a mic till the adapters for the Controllers released. During this time when using the Kinect mic I noticed on my Audio Meters on Xsplit
it would show that the people speaking in my lobby or party were being picked up and viewers could hear them speaking.

Now that the Xbox One Adapter has released and as soon as I plug it in no one can hear the lobby or people in the party anymore and my viewers really enjoy listening to people in the lobby and in the party. I don't know if this feature was just skipped
when designing the Xbox One Adapter or the setting for the Xbox One for Voice to be played through both Speak & Headphones was not added to the Xbox One.

I thought it's a little weird that it works perfectly if I use the Kinect as a Mic and my viewers on the live stream can hear the people in the lobby/party. Please look into this and bring the feature back, I live stream everyday and my viewers love hearing
what shenanigans we get into when I live stream.

    :)

  2. How do you record you gameplay

Like everyone before me, the best answer is by far a capture card. These can range in price from anywhere of 30$ to 300$ depending on the quality. Blitzbox probably have the best quality capture cards. They have live streaming capture cards too

Win10 Xbox App - Minimises when clicking on another screen

    Hey there,

So recently I started streaming on Twitch, as I have no capture card I stream my XBOX feed to the Win10 application then use Display capture on that in OBS for streaming. My problem is that everytime I want to interact with another application (OBS, Streamlabs
etc,) my Xbox App window is minimised, is there anyway to stop this from happening??

    Thanks

That't not what I am talking about..

I am talking about the feature that was on the 360 that you could play voice through both and when I would live stream the viewers could hear the people in the party and in the game lobby. That feature is not here for the Xbox One..

    DP to HDMI

Hey Jameel, thanks for posting your question to the forum.

Yes, you can stream from your Xbox One X with OBS Studio using a DP to HDMI adapter, but you’ll still need a capture card. The adapter will get the HDMI signal from your Xbox, and the capture card will send that signal to your PC. Your GPU will handle rendering and encoding, but it won’t directly capture the Xbox output. Once everything’s hooked up, just add the capture card as a video source in OBS, and you’ll be good to go.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
