    Xbox one adapter for windows 10 - Xbox Series S/X support?


    Hi

    Hoping that someone either may have asked this question in the past or that someone from Xbox will know but will the new Series S/X support the current adapter (or future replacement adapter) that allows xbox one controllers to work with Windows... The reason
    is simple.... the adapter is plug and play and allows me to move from PC to PC without having to re-pair the controller and with game streaming from the cosnole to a compatible device becoming a bigger thing I'd like to be able to move from console to PC without
    needing to re-pair all the time... I know the current Xbox One doesn't support the dongle as I've tried it on my One X but it seems like any easy fix given the console OS is a variaton of the Windows kernel.

    Kinect on series x

    The xbox series x isnt an xbox one
    its the same architecture, just higher spec, it will most likely be based on the windows 10 os still so in theory should support the kinect but with the usb adapter like the s and x.

    Also, is there gonna be a newer version of the wireless adapter for Windows 10 destined for the Series X controller ?

    No problem! To answer your second question, yes the power adapter is compatible for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 and is the only Kinect adapter available. You can use the adapter to connect a Kinect for Xbox One to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One
    X or you can use the adapter to connect either a Kinect for Xbox One or Kinect for Windows v2 to a Windows 10 PC.

    the xbox one s and the xbox one x need an adapter to make it usb and that also comes with its own power supply.

    the xbox series s and x don't support kinect.
