    Hi there,

    So I've had my xbox one since it came out on day one. since then I have used and enjoyed all the games and extra's it's had available for me. My profile linked up and when I turn it on it signs me in automaticity using the Kinect. my profile and points all
    came across great. Xbox live is all good as well. Billing has remained the same.

    However when I log into my account via my PC there is no xbox one activity at all.

    When you say "I tried to register my Xbox one online" do you mean at the website "Register your Xbox product" ? If so, then this might be an
    account/profile syncing issue. May I suggest deleting and
    re-add     your account back to your Xbox to see if that resolves the "error" message you are getting.

    To answer your question to set up a xbox live account you just need to register for xbox live (no gold membership necessary unless you desire to play online multiplayer games) and that requires an active internet connection.

    successfully and i was a gold member for 1,5 years..
