  1. Xbox One acting crazy!!! Snapping apps randomly, forwarding videos.

My Xbox One has been going completely insane for about a week now. While on games or apps, the system randomly goes into spasms. Spasms in which the console repeatedly snaps and unsnaps randomly at like light speed. During these spasm I have no control
over my Xbox whatsoever. When playing game the issue isn't as persistent, but when on apps, the problem is incessant. You can't watch YouTube videos without them being randomly skipped, forwarded, or reminded. While all this is going on the Xbox is still snapping
apps like crazy. I can't even watch movies using the Bluray player without the Xbox randomly starting and stopping it, and forwarding through it while the xbox goes in snapping frenzies. At first I thought it was the controller, but this problem persists even
when the controller is turned off. I have tried resetting the console multiple times with no luck. I already had to send off my last Xbox One because I got the Green Screen of death and the System never turned back on again. I am NOT going to be happy if I
have to send another one away. Can someone please help me? I've never heard of this problem before. About 5 or 6 days ago this problem began. Prior to that, I didn't have any issues of this sort with this current console.

    :)

You only need one thread per issue. I have answered this in your other thread. Thank you.

Xbox One acting crazy!!! Snapping apps randomly, forwarding videos.

The only suggestions we'd be able to provide here is either to power cycle or try resetting to factory settings.

It could also be the controller itself or the Kinect (if you have one). Try changing controllers or disconnecting the sensor.

If none of those things work for you then I'm afraid the console will need to be sent back in.

Twitch app not displaying video in channels...

Well I figured out a workaround for this issue. Once in the channel you want to view, just snap the Twitch app and the video will stream fine, then switch to full screen and the video will be okay. Unfortunately you have to do this for every channel that
you want to watch. Yesterday for me the app just randomly started to work again and allow me to watch streams (albeit with constant buffering on my 75/75MB U/D connections its open NAT), but when I turned the system in this morning it was acting the same way
    again.

The Official "Problems with YouTube app" thread

YouTube video playback in snap mode on Xbox ONE needs to be fixed. When the feature was first added, it was really choppy,, and out of sync. The update after that (current) seemed to improve that a little. It's still choppy (though slightly less), and the
A/V sync is pretty much okay, considering the stil choppy video.

Other video apps seem to play just fine snapped, be it live TV, streaming apps, and even throwing HD video from my tablet to the xbox video app (via DLNA). So yeah, only the YouTube app seems to play videos choppy while snapped.

I hope this gets fixed ASAP.

    Can't Snap Skype.....

Currently Skype for Xbox One doesn't support snapping. Check the section "I’m missing a feature in Skype for Xbox One. Where is it?" in the FAQ here:

    support.xbox.com/.../skype-faq

You can snap other apps like IE, Music and Video to the running Skype app though.
