Xbox one acting crazy, on my birthday of all days

This morning i got home from work and turned on my Xbox one(just got not less then week ago from my partners bday gift), i was like yay i'm off from work and on my birthday i'm gonna finally game all day. That's not whats happening right now. my Xbox one
turns on and signs me in but it wont open anything not even settings, TV, games or even friends list. I tried to hit the notification icon and it froze up and now it wont turn off. Even unplugging it and turning it back on has the same affect with noting opening.
If anyone would be super awesome and help me out on this issue on my birthday

XBOX wont read disk

Same problem here!!! My xbox one makes a crazy sound when you try to insert a disc like its ripping the disc up. Won't play any games at all!!

And it was a birthday present-sucks for me!!!!

 

Happy Birthday! Hopefully I can help you out. Try doing a hard console reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec then plug back in and power back on and see if you can resume
normal operations.
