    Xbox One acting as though it's about to freeze


    Hello. I made a related post on the backward compatibility section, but it seems to be a bigger problem. My original model Xbox One keeps disconnecting itself from Xbox Live. Furthermore, whenever this occurs, the whole system begins to visibly act as though
    it's about to freeze. Specifically, the picture begins to go frame by frame for a few seconds, if I can describe any other way. I thought this issue was just effecting the backward compatible games, but I watched my brother play Halo 5 single player the other
    night, and it looked as though the system was about to crash. So far, I've done a full reset of my Xbox One, and I will post back with any news related to this, be it good or bad. If anyone working here at support can offer anything else helpful to this, it
    would be much appreciated.

    Comcast not working through the One

    I just stated to have an issue with Comcast as well. Mine freezes for 5-10 seconds when you first go to TV then its fine, its acting like it's having a problem finding the signal.

    Xbox One Acting Strange All of a Sudden?

    My xbox one has been acting strange all of a sudden. When i boot up my xbox one , it's fine. But once i start playing, the xbox starts getting unresponsive, and freezes most of the time. Also, the games i boot up are also starting to act strange, the sounds
    are cut out, they become unresponsive, loading times are like in an infinite loop..

    I don't know why my Xbox One is acting strange all of a sudden. I did a hard reboot to see if it will solve the problem but it didn't. Is there something wrong with the xbox one?

    No, that did not work it only acts like it’s pairing with the controller. I am able to play one game then my Xbox will freeze up.

    I believe I have the same problem as you. Mine had been acting up from about late April to Late May, but recently was acting fine for about a month. Now in the last day it has been freezing like it used to. Really very frustrating.

    I just posted about my controller and constant disconnects, some indicate the controller has disconnected and other times it just acts like it's frozen (with the Xbox button with a solid light), when it freezes I have to remove the batteries.

    In my experience the game will freeze semi-frequently in Act III. There's nothing to be done about it.

    Installing the disc to the hard drive seemed to help it occur less often. Good luck.
