XBOX ONE achievements not unlocking

That really isn't good enough, xbox should want too solve this issue to be able to provide a better user experience. As I stated before xbox/microsoft need to bring out an update to fix this problem. The customer support provided is the worst I've ever experienced.
It seems that they are quite happy to just recite the same poor instructions which don't work.

Sincere apologies to hear about the achievements issues. The next best step to try in this scenario is to

Factory Restore your Xbox One console. I understand this solution is not ideal, but this has helped others in similar cases.

Once you have restored your Xbox One console, go ahead and try a game that has easily obtainable achievements to see if the results change. Keep us posted!

 

By restoring the xbox one to factory settings, does this delete all games not installed by disc? so games downloaded via code, how are these still retained on the console without permanantly losing them? Does this affect DLC content for games, is a new account
set up required?

Go ahead and take a look at the page I linked above, which includes details on a Factory Restore. There are two ways to restore your Xbox One console to factory defaults: 'Restore and remove everything' vs 'Reset and keep my games & apps'. I would recommend
trying the second option first and if that doesn't work, proceed to 'Restore and remove everything', which will not affect any game saves stored in the cloud.

Don't fret, this will not affect your Xbox Live account or any game licenses that are associated! Keep us posted.

 

I'm in the preview programme and since the update I've had a lot of something went wrong issues. But that has stabilised now but no acheievments are unlocking I've just finished dark souls 3 and only have 180 gamerscore!!!! Frustrating to say the least!!
So I've just done a reset on my console are my old acheievments gone?!?!

 

Factory Reset does not work. What's the next step?

 

Tried Factory Reset worked. Chose Keep App's and saved games.

Have you tried re-earning those achievements? I would like to clarify that the factory restore would not unlock those achievements, and they will need to be re-earned. Try picking an easier achievement and let us know if you're able to unlock it.

Doesn't seem that they want to solve this problem. I am still having issues and haven't had any reply from Xbox about it
