Xbox One Achievements Not Unlocking

Hello, first time poster and Xbox owner looking for help with an annoying bug.

Never got into trophies on Playstation but decided to hop into the achievement realm with Watch_Dogs on the Xbox One.

After a few weeks on and off I got to the last and most time consuming achievement, 'Social Lubricant,' which requires one to beat level 10 of all three drinking mini-games.

When I finished the requirements, I got the in-game prompt on the progression wheel that I should have the achievement but when looking in the Achievements app I was still at 98%. I then repeated level 10 of each drinking game but my progress on the achievement
in question stuck at 33%, meaning it only counted my first level to completion. After a bit of web searching and frustration I gave up that quest as it's just
one achievement in one game and I don't feel that I should take it that seriously.

However, today I began Guacamelee! STCE and played for a few hours and at some point checked the achievements and realized that I haven't earned any of the achievements that I definitely earned. It has become obvious that this has to be a bug in the achievements
system that was/is not limited to Watch_Dogs but spans to other games.

I'm inclined to believe that this is at least in part caused by the recent update that allowed achievement snapping but can't say from just my experiences.

I've read that these issues usually resolve themselves within a day or two automatically or that comparing games with friends on XBL might work but neither patience or comparing games has worked thus far.

I'd appreciate some help from the community or Xbox support with this issue if at all possible, Thanks.

Problems with progression in achievements

There was an issue recently where achievements weren't unlocking correctly. This has been fixed, but achievements could take a couple days to finally post to your account. Please see the following article that Game Informer quoted Xbox Live's Operations

Hi KendOn, Try un-install then reinstall the game. If that doesn't work un-install the games and do a hard reset the re-install the games again. Hopefully they will starting unlocking for you. To do a hard reset hold the power button on the front of the
console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, plug back in and power back on then re-install the game. I'm hoping one of these 2 solutions will work for you.

 

Tried re-installing and hard resets for a few hours with both Guacamelee and Spartan Assault and still no luck. I'm gonna have to reach out to Microsoft directly

 

My achievement reads as 100% but hasn't unlocked. Attempting an annoying reinstall now. What a joy to painstakingly work towards this achievement and not be awarded with that pop.

 

Same for Max The Curse of Brotherhood. There is only one achievement I'm missing and it's locked at 100%.

 

Is this anyone still having this problem?

 

OP here, still have this issue, chats with Microsoft led to promises of their response to this thread but that's been like four days with nothing.

Just tried an easy achievement and nothing; making me really not like the xbox right now

 

Where you online at the time when a achievement post unlocked?

 

I was online when they used to unlock and I've been online while they haven't been unlocking

 

I'm now having the same problem since the install of the July update. I'm online when playing, but no achievements are unlocking for any game.

 

Same here,

I have 2 Halo Spartan Assault achievements at 100% and neither did unlock. I was (unknowingly) offline when I got them. It happened last week for the first time.

 

The same problem here, Did anyone solve the problem?, I have one achievement of watch dogs stuck an a challenge of Max: The curse of brotherhood, both of them completed 31/July/2014

 

Also having the same problem with spider-man 2 bookworm achievement. It should of popped 10 days ago but is sat there locked at 100% lol
