    Xbox one achievements not unlocking on xbox one, but Windows10 achievements do?


    So here is another post on how achievements are not unlocking. However, this situation is slightly different.

    I've been playing Ezio collection for a bit. In Revelations i'm in sequence 8 now, however, since sequence 3 achievements are not unlocking. Also achievements in another game are not unlocking. This problem is occurring for over 72 hours. I've checked the
    list on the xbox support and none of the solutions are helping (hard resetting, deleting account and adding it again, looking on xbox.com etc.)

    However, the weird part is that my progress is increasing in the Ubisoft app (on the xbox one) for the Ezio Collection. Also, when i get an achievement on my Windows 10 computer they do unlock on my xbox and my computer, so connectivity is not an issue.

    However, when i get an achievement on my Windows 10 they don't unlock anywhere, however, they do appear on xbox.com as unlocked.

    This is all quite strange and i have no idea what to do now. Any genius here with a clever idea? Xbox one achievements not unlocking on xbox one, but Windows10 achievements do? :)

    Thank you for the reply, it's good to know that the issue is known and that it is being worked on.

    Do you also know if achievements that should've unlocked will unlock once the problem is solved?

    Hi, The achievements unlocking like they did is by design on Destiny, as everything you do on the Xbox 360 continues on the Xbox One, and vice versa. The Xbox One version sometimes has issues unlocking achievements, what you have to do to get them to unlock,
    is log out of Destiny and then log back in again, that should unlock them for you.

    Backward compatibility problem

    Hey, BlHimmel! We are aware of a situation where some achievements do not unlock on the Xbox One console. This shows up as either Xbox One achievements not unlocking, Xbox 360 achievements not unlocking, or both not unlocking.

    We are working on resolving this right now, however the current workaround is to do a

    factory reset     on your console. Give that a shot following the steps there; you can keep your games and apps. After that, try to earn an easy achievement for an Xbox 360 game, and let us know how it goes!
