Xbox One achievements not unlocking but 360 achievements are

Xbox One achievements do not unlock but 360 achievements do on backwards compatible games. I have tried deleting my account, restarting my console, and redownloading my account. I have contacted the Microsoft chat and tried every solution that they offered.
They have since documented the case and suggested I post my problem here. I have been unable to unlock achievements for Xbox One games for about 2 weeks.

Hey, BlHimmel! We are aware of a situation where some achievements do not unlock on the Xbox One console. This shows up as either Xbox One achievements not unlocking, Xbox 360 achievements not unlocking, or both not unlocking.

We are working on resolving this right now, however the current workaround is to do a

factory reset on your console. Give that a shot following the steps there; you can keep your games and apps. After that, try to earn an easy achievement for an Xbox 360 game, and let us know how it goes!

I have found a solution to the problem! I reset my console keeping all games and apps. After it restarted my account would load properly and I got achievements. I think it is a problem with corrupted data on accounts because my account used to not load
the gamer pictures properly. Hope this solves anyone else's issue if it is similar.

 

I've solved my own question. I reset the console to factory while keeping all games and apps. I can now unlock achievements. I think it was a problem with corrupted data for accounts as previously my gamerpictures were grayed out but now they pop up.

I'm having the same issue in the same time frame. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps. I know I should be getting achievements because I finished the Halo 5 story and received none. I have one mission left in Doom and haven't unlocked a single achievement
for that game either. Any help would be appreciated.
