Xbox one achievements glitching out

Hey everybody!

I have a question regarding broken achievements, or more appropriately my friend does. My friend and i were playing GTA V about a month or two ago and this is when we were both level 99. We were (clearly) going for the achievement for getting level 100.
I got it, he didn't, as the achievement progress still show 99% completion. we were both bewildered by this and decided to try the achievement for completing a survival. again, i got it and he didn't. this isn't the only game this has happened on, it has happened
with countless black ops III zombies achievements, rocket league achievements, fallout 4 achievement, and potentially many other games. the last time he received an xbox one achievement was roughly 80 something days ago. anyone have a clue why this is happening
to him?

Xbox One Glitching out?

So I was playing Battlefield 4 and I accepted a Friends Game Invite and it didn't accept, I pressed the home button and it seems to have glitched, I can't select anything not even spam holding A does not work, Any ideas?

There are some random issues that appear like this. I know this sounds trivial but the best hing to do from my experience is actually unplug everything from the back of the Xbox and then wait about 30 seconds before plugging it back it. Also make sure you
unplug the cables from the tv and wall as well. The first startup will be slow but after they everything should return to normal.

 

Have your friend give these troubleshooting steps a try:

• Remove your account from your Xbox One console.
  
• Power cycle your Xbox One console.
  
• Download your account to your Xbox One console.
