Xbox One - Achievement's & Game Progress not updating.

HI,

Hopefully some one can help. My game progress and achievements' are not updating. For example in fallout, when looking on the achievement dashboard for fallout 4 it is saying I am level 12 but when I play the game I am level 23, also showing a 10 quests
completed when I have completed a lot more than that. Also store mode achievements you cannot miss are still unlocked. This is not just an issue with fallout 4 and I have the same problem with Sherlock Holmes Crimes and punishments.

Looks like no achievements have unlocked since January.

I do have my own Xbox and my G/F has one at hers, so I have been playing these games on 2 Xbox's.

A little update, I went to my G/Fs on Saturday and took my games and they all synced, funnily enough game progress for fallout4 has updated, so my level is showing correct and quests completed however none of the achievements have still unlocked. Used my
own xbox again Sunday and Monday but progress not updated. example gone up a few levels on fallout 4 and done more quests but not updated

I have been on to support, removed my account cold reset the xbox and re installed profile and re synced games but no joy. Anyone offer any advice. Thanks in advance.

Achievements Not Working Offline only online

Hi Dean, thats not entirely correct. You won't earn any achievements while your offline but as soon as your Xbox One connects to the internet then you will be awarded all those achievements that you earned offline. So there's no need to do things twice. Hope that helps.Click to expand...

yup yup... it stores all your work/progress till you loggin. if your that worried try hot spotting your cellphone with xb1 when you go into the game it should update progress/achievements.

my internet went down mid racing on forza5 for about 2 hours. when i went back in game/online it updated and sent me a achievement when i was in a menu screen.

Xbox.com has yet to be updated to reflect Xbox One activity. In the mean time, the Xbox One Smartglass app can be used to see achievements, friends, followers, messages, game progress and so on.

Sorry to hear about your issues with the achievement you worked hard for!

The progress is correct and you should get an update on it.

Quoted from Xbox Support Page: "The Xbox Live service validates the unlocking of achievements and, though rare, delays can occur. Don’t worry – your progress has been recorded and the achievement will be awarded shortly, usually in less than 24 hours."

Hi, The inbuilt games hub doesn't look like it will be updated.

You should use the new Xbox One Smartglass app, this will track all your Xbox One achievements, progress, messages and friends etc.

Xbox.com has NOT yet been updated to show Xbox One achievements or progress. To do that on the PC or other device, you'll have to use Xbox One Smartglass.

When using the problems with Xbox One achievements and challenges support article for a guide on checking
the progress of the achievement, does it state the correct amount of progress?

Solution 3: Check your achievement progress on your console

When you unlock an achievement, you may not see a notification or an updated gamerscore right away. The Xbox Live service validates your achievement, which may cause a short delay.

If your gamerscore is not updated online, verify that it's updated locally on your Xbox One console. After your gamerscore is updated on your console, verify that the changes are synchronized on Xbox Live.

To see your achievements on your console:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Achievements > See my achievements.

Choose the game in which you unlocked the achievement, then check out the unlocked achievements list.

If you completed the requirements to unlock the achievement on your console but it doesn't show, it may not be synchronized with Xbox Live. Allow up to 72 hours for this synchronization to take place.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.
