Xbox One achievement progress not being recorded.

For over a month now no achievements or game progress has been tracked on my Xbox One.

I played through the entirety of Quantum Break, the game hub section of that has 10+ hours logged yet 0% game progress, with no achievements unlocked. I recently started playing Wolfenstein The New Order, same thing, no progress being recorded, no achievements
unlocking. I thought i'd experiment and play iDarb seeing that it has a few easy achievements. Specifically I created 20 custom characters, that achievement didn't unlock.

Checking and PvZ Garden Warfare 2 puts my progression at 0% too with no achievements unlocked, same for my wife's gamertag on the same Xbox One.

However, all 360 titles I've played have been working fine, I've been playing Borderlands and Condemned with Xbox One backwards compatibility.

I first thought it was just a one-off with Quantum Break, now I've realized no progress for any Xbox One games are being recorded. Though I'm not an avid achievement hunter i'd still like my progress to be recorded so I can compare with friends in the game
hub. Hense the annoyance this has now caused.

I've tried removing my account, restarting the console, redownloading my account and reinstalling my Xbox One games. Then playing through the first chapter of Wolfenstein, but still nothing.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Achievements app wont open - error code 0x87c40011

Hey Xbox just letting you know i'm still having the problem here. With regards to your question my achievements show when in normal mode but not in snap mode, and while in snap many of them have there progress bars altered, some bars have gone down to zero
and all progress i've made since this issue hasn't been recorded on fullscreen or snap achievement screen, but has been recorded on the in game progress e.g it tells me ive completed the mission or objective in the in game stats. This is happening on Halo
TMCC. I believe you may have mentioned this is a previous post but may i ask again, when this is happening and achievement progress doesn't appear to be getting recorded for any reason, If i continue to play will those achievements pop in time or is there
any chance they may not be recorded? I think for many people a clear reassurance that the progress you make while this is happening IS being recorded and will be updated could ease a lot of anxiety, as opposed to not knowing whether you can actually play your
console today. I love the games but the achievements are a big part of the fun. Thank you for working hard on this Xbox

 

My Gamerscore went backwards and is missing 565 Gamerscore...HELP!

Achievements don’t unlock instantly when you complete them

In some instances, you may meet the requirements to unlock an achievement but not immediately receive a notice or update to your gamerscore. The Xbox Live service validates the unlocking of achievements and, though rare, delays can occur. Don’t worry – your
progress has been recorded and the achievement will be awarded shortly, usually in less than 24 hours.

Sorry you are having this issue. One of the most common causes of this issue are not being connected to Live while playing a game. Are you hard wired to your Xbox One or via wireless while you play? If you are not hard wired, you may want to try that
if possible. Also make sure you are logged into your Live profile when you are playing. There are additional support solutions you can find here:

Thank you for the response, it was a mystery though whatever happened. I was definitely connected and signed into my account as I was browsing the store and using apps using my gamertag.

One oddity was my gamerpic which should be present in the top-left of the dashboard just wasn't there.

For two months no acheivements unlocked for One games, it took me a while to notice because I was only playing 360 games. I got through to support via livechat and nothing they suggested worked, I was just told to fill out the feedback forms with every achievement
that should have been unlocked (so I had to fill it out about 45 times) and wait for them to unlock in the coming months.

I decided to try reformatting my console, that worked, my gamertag is now behaving as should with game progress being recorded as normal. The progress made before then though shall be forever lost, but it's all good now.

 

I know your issue was posted a year ago, but I am now experiencing the exact same phenomenon - Xbox 360 titles on my One console unlock achievements as usual, but for 3 weeks now not a single one for my Xbox One titles. I've tried several, to make sure
it wasn't an isolated title issue, but it's the same every time. I've done everything EXCEPT for completely reformatting since there is the new option after the console update to restore to factory without removing games - which was itself a huge pain since
half of my games no longer registered as being on the console or external HDD until I "re-downloaded" them from the "ready to download" tab, at which time they'd appear again in the games & apps section. Was a complete factory-restore the only option that
worked in your case? Thanks.
