Xbox One achievement/notifications glitch/bug

Hey everyone. I've encountered an issue with achievements or notifications in general but most notably the achievements. It was working fine for about a week. But now anytime a notification pops up, again mostly this happens with achievements, it stays on
the screen for a couple of minutes instead of the normal few seconds that it used to do. I know its not a big deal, but its annoying enough that id like to try and mend the situation. If anyone has any idea on how to remedy this situation, it would be greatly
appreciated.

Achievements not unlocking?! :O :'[

Sometimes achievements do not show a notification. (bug)

Can you check your achievements list for the game? Let me know.

1) Go home, then select your profile

2) Go down to "Achievements"

3) Find the game and check the achievement list.

or

1) Say 'Xbox, go to achievements."

Some achievement notifications were not popping for my friend, however he still unlocked them.

When you get your Xbox One you will need to download your profile onto that console, it will pull the latest data available from the Microsoft Servers. As far as achievements go, whatever achievements you're showing on Xbox.com for your profile will also show
exactly as it shows there on the Xbox One. I can't say there won't be any sort of "glitches/bugs" but they've been testing this platform and that's why they have beta's for software. Microsoft does their best to ensure "glitches/bugs" don't happen.

 

I am having the same issue. This is the first thread I've seen for it. Hope to get some answers. I found the most annoying way to fix it temporarily, is to go to Xbox home and then open the achievements. That usually gets it off screen for me, but it's a
huge hassle.

 

Yea I'm experiencing this as well also the typing on twitch and messages is laggy as well if it helps I am playing ea sports ufc

 

Me as well typing takes ages and achievements don't clear for minutes

 

Just did a hard reset ( hold the power button on the xbox for 5 seconds) this seamed to have fixed it

 

I have had the same problem since the last update. i don't know if that's why it's going on.

 

I did a hard reset and Achievement Notifications are back to normal. So try holding down the Xbox button on the Xbox for 5 seconds or until it turns off and then turn it back on. Next time you get an achievement, there shouldn't be any issue. I tried and
confirmed.
