Xbox One achievement error. Code 0x87c40011

Achievements app not working

I got the error code 0x87c40011 couldn't see my achievements my games install slower and can't watch Netflix on my Xbox one, but I can on my 360. I factory reset my Xbox one and still get the error code

Error code: 0x87c40011 Cant open or unlock achievements. This has been for 2 days now and it is realy annoying when is this gonna be fixed? cant open achievements, leaderbords, compare achievements with friends and no achievements will unlock on Xbox One.

 

Same here - I've hard reset xbox one and deleted and recovered profile...

 

With no luck, still get error message

 

Deleteing profiles and hard resetting is not going to help, its a server thing and can only be fixed by xbox, its a pain in the *** but we just have to wait :/

 

I'm just not understanding how they haven't even addressed the issue yet. Are they even aware of it

 

From looking though the twitter, they are. theres alot of people tweeting at them about it but they just ask for pics of the error and for Gamertags to "track and log" them and don't say anything else. not sure why they haven't said anything to the public
or even a Service alert.

this would be a awesome time to Achievement hunt in MCC but. this little thing is ruining my weekend for me. :/

 

I got the same achievement problem and i dont have halo. I only had the xbox one for 4 days the last achievement i got was on titanfall 2 nights ago now achievements app wont work. Has anyone tried a factory reset?

 

What is going on its been two day can't open the achievement app on any game

 

I am also having this annoying issue. I can open the achievements on other accounts on my Xbox, but not on my own. I have done all the suggested solutions and still no luck.

 

I have gotten the error to go away by changing my background from achievement art back to a solid colour. I'm able to access the achievement app after a sign in. The sign in thing started after the newest console update. I'm about to play MCC to see if any
achievements pop, I know it gipped me out of a couple last night.

You might be on to something here. I went to change my background and when i selected achievement art it opened my achievements. It didn't unlock all of the ones i got while it wasn't working, but i'm going to try to unlock one right now and see if it works.

That does seem to fix it. Which is very, very strange! Achievements are now unlocking again. But it won't unlock any that I got when it was broken... However, this could be for many, many reasons...
