    Xbox One Account Wiped of Points And Gamertag


    So I haven't been on the Xbox in a long time (since my brother hogs it) and i have noticed that all of the families accounts have been wiped off except for a new account made by my brother. Normally it would have me, my brother and my dads accounts but there
    was only one left. When i tried to sign in to my account it started out as if i was a new profile with my gamer tag being changed and so as my points.Keeping in mind that all my games were still installed on to the xbox. I tried all these other accounts but
    none of them seemed to work. My brother said his mic was broken so he searched a video and it said to reset the Xbox. I don't know if it has to do something with this or maybe something else. PLS HELP I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR A FEW DAYS NOW. any

    HELP - very odd account problem

    Hi all, it's been a year since I logged into my xbox live account on the xbox live website, and now i have this very odd problem. My gamertag is 'Wiseguy Tony', but for some reason when i log into my account (after one year), my gamertag is now ''
    and my gaming points and history is completely wiped out. It's like I'm accessing a completely new and different account, with my email and password. How do I gain control of my gamertag? I don't have an xbox with me at the moment.

    It seems like your brother accidentally performed a factory reset on the console. This wipes and resets the Xbox.

    Your original Xbox account should be linked to an email address. Log in to your Xbox profile with that email address (and password), and you should be back.

    I know of a gamertag that's being held, not used

    Microsoft did one Gamertag wipe in Xbox's history - let's hope for another.

    As for your gamertag being on your Xbox One, it has no bearing on whether it's on your previous Xbox 360. Feel free to wipe the hard drive before you trade it in and you can download your account on your Xbox One.

    Sadly the only way achievements can be removed is if a Gamertag is found to be cheating, at which point all of the achievements are wiped and, as mentioned, cannot be unearned. Sorry but single achievements cannot be deleted from an account at this time
    according to Microsoft support.
