Xbox one account transfer - keyboard stuck up stopping me from selecting options

Now this probably an idiotic question with an easy resolution but I'm stuck.

when transferring my 360 account to my Xbox one II can't get passed the point where it asks me to enter my birthday.

when creating an account it works fine allowing me to select day, month and year but when I get to the same stage when trying to transfer my account the Xbox keyboard is stuck up allowing me to only select the day and not move to the month. I've resorted
to just spamming every button on the controller but it will not let me move to select the month to move on and its driving me mental.

can I collapse the keyboard so I can independently choose the day, month and year and then press next?

its even more frustrating as it has taken me a while to recover this email and now the only thing standing in my way of playing is the fact that I can't select the month of my birth.

1. Sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.
2. Go to settings and select Account.

Xbox 360 settings

1. Go to Your Billing Options and select Licence Transfer.
2. Follow the instructions to transfer the content licences.

1. Select Download History.
2. Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, select the item, and then select Download Again.

How to move multiple items at once

You can easily move multiple items between storage devices using the Transfer Content option. So, if you purchase a new console, you can move the contents of your old Xbox 360 console to the new one using the Transfer Content option and the Hard Drive Transfer Cable.

Notes:

During the content transfer, the Xbox Dashboard will be unavailable.

If any problem occurs during the transfer and the transfer is interrupted, the content will remain on the source storage device. You can start the transfer process again.

How to transfer multiple items

To transfer multiple from one storage device to another, follow the steps bellow:

• From Xbox Home, you need to go to Settings to select System.
• Press Storage.
• You need to highlight the storage device containing the content that you want to transfer. Now press Y for Device Options.
• Press Transfer Content.
• You’ll have to select the destination storage device
• You’ll also have to select the content type that you want to transfer.
• Finally press Start to begin the transfer.

If the destination storage device doesn’t have sufficient space, the Space Available bar will appear red. Then you’ll have to reduce the amount of content you are transferring.

Here is how:

• First you need to select content type
• If you want to remove all items from the content type, press X
• If you want to remove individual items, press A to view the items. Then select the item or items and press A again. You need to press B to return to the previous screen. Finally select Start to begin the transfer again.

 

If you're transferring a gamertag from the Xbox 360 to the One then there is no need to enter in a birth date as it is already listed in the details of the gamertag. I suspect that you are accidentally trying to create a new tag overtop the existing one.
Please be sure which option you are choosing when moving the tag to the new console.

 

For some reason it was asking me, anyway I managed to sort it. The whole keyboard is a little buggy for me in places sometimes so I got round it with a USB keyboard

 

for any who follow, and still have this error, minimize or close the onscreen keyboard by tapping Y a couple times, then it will let you move to the next block
