    Xbox one account recovery

    You would need to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them the gamer tag for the account that you want to recover and if they can verify ownership of the account they can give you the email associated with that gamer tag
    and then you can go to account.live.com/acsr to recover it.

    Xbox support would also be the ones to issue any refunds if the account is eligible for them.

    how does this one rule work - Unauthorized account recovery or usage - as there are alot of people banned for this, is it to do with account recovery to many times or something.

    The only methods for account recovery are the recovery form, the associated phone number and the recovery email, at least one of them you must comply to recover the account
