Xbox one account on xbox360 has no xbox live

Hello, i used to be able to play on the xbox360 with my xbox one account that had membership die to the fact the membership counted for both consoles. But when i log in to xbox360 it says i need to buy xbox live gold. Did theu change the settings or rules
for this matter?

Xbox live. I have an Xbox360 which has Xbox live. With the same account, I now have an Xbox one but it’s saying I do not have Xbox live. On my 360 when I initially started my account, I was a sub account under my dad in which is how I still have it on 360.
How can I get it onto my Xbox one?

Hi, my son's xbox live subscription has not transferred from his xbox360 to his xbox one.

I've got both console open and logged in with the same MS account.

The 360 says he has a subscription.

The Xbox one says he has no subscriptions.

How can we fix this?

Nothing has changed, you should be able to use your gold subscription on your account you had on the Xbox One, on the Xbox 360.

You are showing as a Silver member on these forums, so it would suggest you do not have gold membership on your account. If you are thinking this is wrong, please check your subscriptions page here:
https://account.microsoft.com/services#.

If you have got another account on the Xbox One console with Xbox Live gold membership, then any account on the Xbox One will share the gold membership, and be able to access online multiplayer, even if they are a silver member. However, this does not transfer
over to the Xbox 360.

Thanks for the reply, the account os my brothers called "robanna". He has a live subcription on the xbox one and i tried to go on xbox360 with it but it says it is a silver account on xbox360.

since you mentioned that the account have gold while on xbox one but not on the 360. Its possible that there's an account that is assigned as the home xbox which have gold so both you and your brother's account can access live features. I would suggest checking
your account subscription online on the website to confirm if you do have gold or not.

delete the account on the xbox 360 and then recover the profile, make sure you select profile only when you delete.

i have live, my consoul says i have. but when i go to my microsoft account to download 360 game with gold it says , renew gold. but i have renewed till june ?

Guys I think you guys missed his second post

Since your account doesn't have gold but your brother has the gold membership that would be why

Home gold doesn't carry over onto 360

It is only a xbox one feature

Only the master account on the xbox one can carry the gold membership on the website or another console

You would have to purchase your own membership to carry over onto the 360

This applies to all consoles including ps4 and ps3

 

Narcis if you are using an trial code that would be why

Trial codes don't give gold status it only gives you temporary multilayer access

If your home console has gold that would be why you have xbox one benefits but read the above post explaining about home gold
