Xbox One account connected to wrong EA account

When I loaded up the Star Wars Battlefront Beta last night, I was surprised to see that although I was logging in with my own Xbox Live account, the EA account that Star Wars was trying to login was actually a friend's.

Here's the question, how do I disconnect my xbox live account from being linked to my friends EA account, and then connect MY EA account to my Xbox Live account?

Ea Access Question

The other account could play the games but they'd need to be on your account to download any EA Access games or to get the 10% discount on EA games.

Hey mate,

I'm not 100% sure, but I would say that it needs to be done from the EA side of things. You need to login to the EA account, delink it from there, then log into your account and link it correctly. If you can't get into that account, I would reccomend submitting
a support ticket with them to have it fixed, or calling them if you can't do that

The problem is that the EA account that is associated with my Xbox account is wrong. My Microsoft/Xbox account was the one that was hacked years ago and they connected their EA account to my Xbox account. EA won’t let me disconnect my Xbox account from that account because I don’t have that account’s information. I can see on the Game Pass app that there is some EA account linked to my Xbox account, but when I click “manage” it brings me to EA’s website. But, again, I cannot sign into this other person’s account to disconnect my Xbox account.

Its ridiculous. Someone should be able to fix this. I am going to have to start another “chat” with EA and they are going to tell me there’s nothing they can do since I don’t have access to that other EA account.

I appreciate your reply, this is just crazy.

I followed those steps then received this error: "Looks like your Xbox account is already connected to another EA Account. Unlink accounts or try linking a different Xbox account." However, I have only one Xbox account and only one EA Account. I don't have any others because I use the same email address for each account.

If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

- Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

- Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

- Then install a EA game from xbox app

It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account

But EA can’t help as any info I give them is wrong and the email associated with the ea account doesn’t exist so I can’t unlink my Xbox account from them
