    II'm planning on buying a xbox one soon. Been searching online for the best prices and found out that pretty much all 500GB models are under $500. Is there any difference between the 500GB and 1TB Xbox One besides the hardrive size? Like with the PS4, it
    has 2 or 3 different version where the newer ones are much quiter and draw less power.

    How to move(transfer) ALL my content from the existing XBOX ONE(500Gb) to a new XBOX ONE(1TB)?

    Hello,

    The HDD of my existing Xbox One(500Gb) is almost full.:-( Type of Xbox Live Account is Gold.

    Is there any possibility to upgrage HDD only from 500Gb to 1Tb? If yes then How? Xbox One 500GB-1TB :)

    If no then How to move(transfer) ALL my content from the existing XBOX ONE(500Gb) to a new XBOX ONE(1TB)?

    Hi there,

    the difference between a regular Xbox One s and a Xbox One S 1TB will be that the 1TB version will have a 1tb storage device and not a 500GB storage device.

    So the 1TB which is about 1000GB will have approx. twice the storage amount compared to the 500GB version.

    Keep in mind that if needed the storage space can be expanded by connecting an external storage device (USB 3.0 and at least 256GB) to expand the available storage on any Xbox One console.

    I thought that might be the problem, but that doesn't make sense for a couple of reasons. One, the 1TB drive has the exact same files as the 500GB drive did. When I got the 1TB drive, I just copied the files from the 500GB drive over to the 1TB one. So
    it's the same number of files. If the Xbox 360 is trying to index the files, it should be fine, since the 500GB drive worked fine.

    And as I mentioned, having to unplug and replug the drive every time seems like something we shouldn't have to do.

    Can I find out the hard drive size on an Xbox One that I used to own using the serial number?

    No matter what size the hdd is 500GB, 1TB etc, thry never show full as 500GB or 1TB due to system information being stored on them
