    Xbox One 36bits Per Pixel Stuck


    Hi guys really need help on this one. Any Ideas?

    I was testing the different bits per pixel settings and now I'm stuck with an unsupported signal on my tv. I changed the setting to 36 bits per pixel and now I can't get my xbox to show anything on my tv even with a power reset. Is there anyway I can
    reset that setting without being able to see what the xbox is actually showing??? Please help!!

    Ive tried taking out any disc in xbox one and pressing the eject and power on button no no help.

    4K 30bits and 36 bits combined with full-rgb output broken.

    On the Xbox One S when selecting 4K output with either 30bits or 36bits and the pc RGB colour space (full-RGB 0-255). It'll actually output at the standard colour space (limited-RGB 16-235), despite the menu claiming 4K+30bits+pc RGB.

    When using 4K with 24bits colour per pixel and pc-RGB it'll output at those settings.

    Expected:

    4K + 24bits + pc RGB: 0-255

    4K + 30 bits + pc RGB: 0-255

    4K + 36bits + pc RGB: 0-255

    Reality:

    4K + 24bits + pc RGB: 0-255

    4K + 30 bits + pc RGB: 16-235

    4K + 36bits + pc RGB: 16-235

    Just wanted to update that i didnt have to uninstall / re install but instead found that my colour depth had been set at 36bits per pixel and when set to 24 the issue went away immediately. May be useful for other people to know.

    Dolby Atmos and 4K

    It would help if you described your actual setup how you connect your console to your TV and sound system, and what TV and sound system models you have.

    Also, is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview Program? If so, make sure you send feedback through the Insider App describing the issue you have, what you did to set up Atmos and how setting your display settings disables Atmos.

    Be aware, that if you have a 120Hz monitor with 36bits per pixel, Dolby Atmos won't currently work. You'll have to (manually) select a mode with only 30 bits per pixel (10 bit) to get Atmos working with 120 Hz monitors.

    In order to help you better, we need a description of your setup.
