Discus and support Xbox One / 360 Cross-System-Link? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am trying to create a System-Link game of Gears 3, with one copy on the Xbox 360 and the other on the One.     Xbox One / 360 Cross-System-Link?


    I am trying to create a System-Link game of Gears 3, with one copy on the Xbox 360 and the other on the One. However, regardless of who hosts, neither console can see the other's LAN party. Am I missing something? Am I under the false apprehension that cross-System-Link
    is possible, or am I doing something wrong? Any advice or help would be welcome. Thankyou in advance.

    What would be great is if they made it cross platform between Xbox 360 and Xbox one. But Microsoft wouldn't do that because it would hurt sales of the Xbox one. And other people, plus Microsoft, will say that the server system configurations between the
    Xbox 360 and Xbox one won't work together. But I would say if Microsoft would try to implement cross platform, they could do it, I just don't think they will or want to.

    Are you trying to system link between Xbox ones that are playing the Halo: Master Chief Collection and Xbox 360s that are playing the Xbox 360/Xbox Original versions of those games? I'm pretty sure that cross-play between Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of
    the games will not work. You can cross-play with the Xbox 360 version of the games on both consoles, for example, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 are backwards compatible on Xbox one.

    You will either need all Xbox ones playing the Halo: Master Chief Collection or all Xbox 360s running the Xbox 360 Halo game of your choice.

    You would need an cross over cable which is different then your Ethernet cable which look the same but isn't you have for buy one from your computer shop

    Sorry, although you can move your worlds from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One you cannot cross-play between the two systems.
