    Xbox one (3.5mm forze edition) Controller Stopped working


    Last night i went on my xbox and plugged in a chat headset to join a

    party to start gaming with friends when the microphone wouldn't work. I

    ended up giving in trying to troubleshoot it and opted to use the

    microphone from the camera and the controller worked fine, my dog chewed

    the android charger wire end that plugs into the controller so she used

    the charger on her phone to see if it still worked and then charged the

    pad with it afterwards which seemd to be working fine, this morning i

    took the charger wire from the mains which is connected through the usb

    slot of a samsung fast charger and put it into the side usb of the xbox

    and the other end itno the controller it initially vibrated asif it was

    charging but then nothing. The controller wont even power on or be

    recognised in the accessories through settings on the xbox, i've tried

    multiple troubleshooting videos on youtube tried other charger wires

    with no luck. Im using a 1st edition pad with the plug and charge kit i

    use with this pad and it is working with a full charge. Im at a loss

    with this and any help would be much appreciated!

    Why can't my Xbox One S wireless controller detect headsets?

    I bought my Xbox one S Wireless Controller in August 2018, and the 3.5mm headphone jack has been working fine. Then, yesterday it just stopped working completely. Can someone help me?

    Chat Headset missing in the XboxOne package

    Not all xbox ones come with the headset/. I have gears of war ultimate edition bundle 500gb with new 3.5mm controller and didnt come with ehadset. i think now that they have the new controller with 3.5mm jack, they stop giving those headsets for free.

    On my original controller the 3.5mm plug stopped working, so I bought the keyboard (attachment) controller that has a 3.5mm plug and this fixed my issue. hope this helps.

    Xbox One controller broken by Windows Anniversary Update

    Same issue for me after Windows Anniversary Update.

    I have found this only happens with the newer Xbox One controllers with the 3.5mm audio jack (both regular 3.5mm standard edition and the brand new white S version)

    Playing Divinity - Original Sin Enhanced Edition had major issues with triggers as well as double inputs as everyone in this thread has talked about.

    I hooked up my old Xbox One controllers without the 3.5mm audio jack and all was fine again.

    Headphones nor chat are working

    The controller just has the 3.5mm jack the XBox One S did not come with the stero headset controller...just plugging into the 3.5mm jack worked for a few weeks right out of the box
