Xbox one £289 or £334 with Kinect.

I dont think so as the Kinect doubles as an IR blaster. Could be wrong though.

On Amazon.UK there is a lightning deal on right now for an Xbox One console (without kinect) and a copy of Alien Isolation for £289.

 

Next Xbox has 'painfully low' processor issues ?

Eh £289 may as well be £2890? Why I can afford £289 but not £2890 and no one forces you to buy it straight away or at all.

The console has been in development longer than the 360 was so it is hardly rushing it is it.

The 360 is making them loads of cash right now and I am sure they won't make the same mistake as last time.

 

Just dug a little deeper and the console itself has an IR receiver so should be alright. Tempted now.

Shopplay any good? Never bought from them.

 

lol, what gave it away . Yeah big lotr fan bud . I have heard many good things about Mordor. Watched an angry-joe video and it sold it. He had an ongoing beef with a certain orc and finally lopped its head off after dying many times.

Looks great though and good to see some positive feedback on a LOTR title. I'm an AC fan so its on the list. I had to chose between Mordor or Alien, Alien won but I was a bit unprepared with no adult sized nappies in the house .

I'm loving P vs Z, Titanfall, Diablo 3 UE and the 'Arcade' titles. (Especially now Games with Gold is with us!). Just got Alien Isolation and I am seriously happy about the games coming out in the next couple of months...............

I aint seen much of Alien yet but it gives me the spooks lol. Looking forward to a crack tonight, hopefully I will make it around the corner . Looks tidy on the xbox one though!.

Buy the kids the games YOU want and say you have to try them first to make sure their suitable for them to play.

That way you get what you want and the kids think your doing them a favour!

In all fairness, my son wants Sunset Overdrive, Halo Masterchief Collection and Assassins Creed so thats me sorted too!!

 

The game is decent nothing ground breaking, how is FH2? Heard nothing but positives about the game is it really that good?

If you liked the first Horizon then I'm sure you will like this one.

It's not a massive leap from the first game, just bigger, slightly better looking with more to do. The online is a great laugh with people you know ( Not played it with randoms )

The only slight disappointment for me is it doesn't have more of the events where you race against planes, trains etc, I think these are brilliant, just needed more of them.

Overall though a fantastic game in my opinion especially if you liked the first.

 

Cheers Lofty, Unfortunately i didn't get around to play the full game, I did play the Demo for a brief spell the open world aspect was appealing... I will give FH2 a shot when i buy my XB1 sometime this month...

The demo gives you a good idea of what to expect, obviously the full game you have a bigger area, loads of events, loads to find whether it be Barns with rare cars of Billboards which give you XP or Fast Travel locations.

I think what appeals to me most about this game is if you don't want to race you don't have to, just go off exploring and see what you can find, mess about online with your mates, again just exploring, racing, co-op bucket list which can involve anything
from both getting to a checkpoint in a certain time or earning X amount of skill points, there really is loads to do and will last you a long time if you want to see everything the game has to offer.

Last time I played FH2 I spent over an hour looking for Billboards, it's kind of addictive lol. The whole game is a lot of fun, but I agree with Lofty in wishing there were more special events to do.
