    Xbox One (2013) E102 and then E101 after trying to update


    I booted up my Xbox One I bought recently today and it said "Preparing youe consoleconsole" to then after 15 seconds met with the error code E102. I've then tried to perform an offline system update starting with OSU2. I held the eject and pair buttons
    assuming the console would just start updating but it brought me back to the troubleshoot menu. The drive was formatted to NTFS and has 8GB total space and had nothing else on it. When I selected the "Update from USB" option it showed the Updating console
    page for a second and then gave the error code E101 meaning it couldn't update. And I know I can't get it repaired under warranty as it would be invalid by now and the warranty sticker isn't on the console. I really have no idea what to do

    Hello tylermorkot,

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with completing an offline system update to correct error codes E101 and E102. Please try entering the USB drive into another USB port available on your Xbox One and try the update again.

    Please let us know how this goes.

    Thank you for your reply. We have done that and it goes right back to the error screen with with a new error code we have had e106 e102 e101. E101 is the last one we got after doing the offline update

    exactly the same problem on saturday after a system update , but i got E200 then E102 E101 tried everything including the usb method , the harddrive clicks twice and thats it ,so its now in germany getting repaired
