    Xbox one 1TB, powers on for a few seconds then shuts off


    I've got 2 Xbox one 1TB, and both of them have the same problem. They power on for a few seconds then shuts off, I've tried a power brick from a working Xbox one, and still have the same problem w/both Xboxes and I've even added new thermal paste to both
    Xboxes. What's wrong with my systems please can anyone tell me what happened(BOTH SYSTEMS SAME TIME WHAT THE H... HAPPENED TO MY SYSTEMS) and both are out of warranty.

    System is plugged into power strip with TV only...

    I'm also having this issue and have since I got the console. Sad that the title update a while ago didn't fix the issue.

    Hi, you may want to look an try to troubleshoot using the official guide to troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off

    Normally it is due to poor ventilations, making it overheat. Try and make sure that the ventilation vents are not blocked with dust. You can use a can of air to clean them out. Also, the power supply may be an issue, but since you
    have already tried a working power supply you may need to contact Microsoft at
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US...     But, not by any means do not attempt to open the Xbox console and service it yourself, as this will void your warranty. Make sure to check the link for more troubleshooting details to figure
    out what exactly is causing the issue. Hope this helps.

    Bad experience with the new update.

    Try to force shut down your xbox. Do this by pressing and holding the power button on the xbox console until it shuts off (about 5-10 seconds). Wait a few minutes before powering up again.

    I am shutting it off at the console holding down power then turn off. When I hold the power button to shut it off it doesn't seem to send any power of signals to the projector. I have tried both power modes and neither made any difference.
