    I bout the 1tb master chief collection, and were it said exclusive offer . it stated $50 promotional and i get to choose free game, i got the $50, but never the free game of choice. i called Microsoft and they told me they could not find such thing which
    is not cool because it said when i buy now get $50, plus free game of choice. so i did. buy it right there and then. just need help with this i do not want to get the run around that irritates me so much.

    I DID IT AGAIN!!! Bought the xbone 1TB with Halo Master Chief Collection. Now I have the best of both worlds =).

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    From my research, the Xbox One Master Chief Collection is not backwards compatible with the xbox 360/original xbox version of the games, you must both have the Master Chief Collection and have an Xbox One to play CoOp online or locally.

    Yes, as you've found out, as long as you have your disc install left on the console, when you buy the digital copy it just downloads a little licence file - no need to re-download the entire game.
