    I've already tried contacting support they claim it's either my network or my ISP.

    Let me go into detail

    I pay for 100Mbps W/ Speed boost upto 180Mbps internet speeds and yes I get those speeds incl'd the boost.

    how ever my Xbox seems to love to slow down to a crawl after just a short bit. I can't figure out why either but I know it MUST be something on my network but what?

    SOO troubleshooting here, I smart wired my house

    Modem > Gateway/Router (ClearOS 7 w/ 2.6Ghz x2 w/ 8GB DDR2 800Mhz + 3 NIC's[3 subnets])

    Subnet 1 > Office (on switch)

    Subnet 2 > Personal (on switch)

    Subnet 3 > Guest Wifi/wired (using a router with gateway functions off as a WiFi+Switch)

    Internally all my connections can reach near Gbe speeds, externally I don't pay for such speeds as the price is outrageous.

    My brother has essentially the same set up as me but at his place my xbox gets full speeds of 80-170Mbps download speeds......

    at home unless i do a hard reset unplug power clear mac I don't get full speeds but even if I do that it only last for a couple minutes until it's back to a crawl....

    I don't have any additional services running that are unnecessary and we're both running ClearOS gateways with essentially the same specs...

    all the other devices on my network attain full external speeds and even my xbone does WHEN it's done a hard reset, I can not factory reset it though as that will remove an account I have lost access to the password of and I do not have access to the password
    of the email nor the ability to reset and I have a bunch of Digital Games on it that I do not want to lose access too.

    I've swapped Ethernet cables around even to see if that might be the issues and sadly to say it is not.... I know it can't be my network... it has to be the box itself faulty NIC?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    xb1 s loud fan

    I have a new ( black Friday purchase) XB1 1TB battlefield 1 TB ed. that has a supper loud fan. it almost sounds like its hitting a wire while running. the sound is coming from the exhaust vent and it dosen't change speed/sound when I play a game. do I need
    to take it back to where I got it or have to send it in.

    I do the same and dont have a problem however my speed is slightly better than yours.

    I have 30mbps download and 3mpbs upload

    I would also consider configuring your router by forwarding ports if you havent already.

    gives you the numbers of the ports to forward

    portforward.com/.../routerindex.htm

    find your router in this list and follow the guide

    I to have this error. Just bought the new 1tb machine to replace the day one ed machine. So excited until I went to load games. What a nightmare. Nearly 3 days of constant babysitting the new machine, trying to get it to load my game library. Do Microsoft
    not care about how damaging this is to them. Or is this market here in Australia not worth the bother?
