Xbox one (1st edition) has a few issues.

Hi, i've been trying to repair this XBOX for a while and just can't figure out the problem. I first encountered an issue where it would turn on, then display an error 102 screen and then turn itself off. I took the XBOX apart to find that the hard drive
that was in it wasn't the original one and was empty. So I followed a video online to put the OS onto the 1TB hard drive and then reinstall it. I've then gone to turn it on while unshelled and noticed that the fan jolts and then doesn't spin and then followed
shortly after by the Xbox turning off.

Keep in mind that I've tried making sure all the wires are connected. I also can confirm that the fan was spinning before. It does a little jolt and then just doesn't want to continue. I assumed that this was a fan but upon powering it from an LED strip
power supply it spins. So ideally I would assume I'm missing something. If anyone has any idea what is wrong with this thing then I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

Sorry about that issue, only the Elite '1st" edition have 1 year warranty, the 2nd edition has only 90 days excepted if you purchase an warranty extension.

i have had this issue from the 1st day this game came on games for gold and this has happed a few times with games for gold

My local Sainsbury had 6 day one editions for 1st come this morning and Tesco had quite a few too. I guess it's not the same everywhere which sucks. But like others said why leave it this late?
