Is it possible to download Xbox One games in 1080p only? Meaning leaving out all the 4k assets and textures. I have unlimited internet but its slowed down after 20GB. Its slowed down to 600Kbps max. So 20 gig downloads will take between 1 to 2 weeks to
download. But I know alot of the update sizes are due to 4k assets and other miscellaneous assets the some people wont use. So, trimming them should give me the ability to actually enjoy an xbox one.

And yes, iv looked to other companies for service, but im rural and the one that can service me refuses due to a lack of other customers around me.

    :)

COD: Ghosts PS4 framerate issues caused by it being higher than 60fps

and thats exactly why air needs to be cleared out now. Xbox One 1080p textures downloads only. :) just saying xbox 720 doesnt have anything going better than 1080p. The only one game which is native 1080p is forza, it has *** load of pre-baked texture to keep it like that.

    Xbox One X Noob questions

Thats not true. It will still download and use the higher resolution textures and just supersample. Still giving you the extra detail in them, but downsampling to 1080p.

Higher resolution, higher detail textures still look better than the base textures at a lower screen resolution.

Xbox One X Will Always Download 4K Assets Regardless Of The Connected TV

A lot of games are around 20gb or more, even if they don't have 4k assets.

Games with 4k assets are mostly around 60 to 100gb.

    Haven't thought about that yet..

Here in the Netherlands we have unlimited data and high speeds..

Best thing for you to do is to buy games on disc and install them offline.

That way you only have to download some (smaller) updates and save on data and time.

That would work if the discs were like in the good ol' days.

Discs now do 1 of two things.

1.Act only as keys where you have to download the whole file still

    2. Contain only a part of the game, however most of the new triple A titles have mandatory updates to the disc based games that usually are reach 30gb. The Assassins creed game was completely replaced even if yoy had a disc cause the on disc game was broken.
So technically, the discs are a waste of time since they're essantially putting unfinished or broken games on them.

    Fallout 76 textures

    Hello Sleeeves,

The main reason you are experiencing this issue with the textures is due to the Xbox one X having native 4K textures. When you moved the game over to your older Xbox one, the textures may start at 720p and sometimes go up to 1080p. Without the Xbox one
X, your enhancements will not be shown on the older generation console.

    Hope this helps!
