    Loud buzzing noise from my powerbrick

    I was playing on my xbox one and out of nowhere it just powers down, and then only the power brick starts making noise. It sounds like it does when the xbox is turned on. When i try to turn it on the power button lights up for about 1 second but then it
    doesnt turn on. Please help

    Xbox one powers on but won't start up

    In case anyone is having the same problem and can't find a solution I have this to say. It's most likely the hard drive. It was in my case. The hard drive just died and was making the weird noises (not the fan). You can request a repair to change the hard
    drive or do it yourselfs if you are brave enough and out of warranty with a little help from the internet. The hard drive was of a good brand too it's not like Microsoft wanted to save big cash and put a cheap one inside so I guess I can't really blame them.

    blank screen     troubleshooting guide. Run through all the steps there and let us know how it goes.

    Uhm, I downloaded my xbox live account [gold] that I bought about a week ago onto my new xbox, although it's saying 'This account isnt aloud on Xbox Live"

    It was my other xbox in my house so I bought a gold sub for 1 month [$10] And there was somthing b4 it was $1 For a month but that one doesnt bother me.

    is it the old style xbox one with a separate power supply? if so is it possible to try and borrow one to test?
    No it's not that one, it's powering up fine, just no HDMI output signal, it's 15 months old

    My Original Xbox One recently started shutting off at random times

    There could be a few situations.

    1. Faulty power strip. Plug your console into the wall instead.

    2. Damaged power supply. Replace it.

    3. Old hardware. I had and OG xbox one and gamed on it a LOT and started having problems with it so I had to replace it. I hear the xbox one S is a steal right now :)
