XBOX ONE 1 MONTH FREE SUBSCRIPTION, NOT ALLOWING ANY ACCESS TO XBOX LIVE!

In the absence of any obvious way to resolve this....

We have a one month access into XBOX LIVE but are not getting any online services such as multi-player etc. Receiving messages such as "this profile is not permitted to play online", not able to play online only Overwatch.

I have checked the account on-line and everything seems correctly established. Please can an xbox team member contact me to get this resolved?

EA Access Question

Just got a message from Xbox with a code for a free month of EA Access for pre ordering battlefield 1. I currently have a year subscription, can you stack the free month with your current subscription like you can with Xbox live and psn?

unlike on the 360 where you download it and have it for free you will have to have xbox live in activated mode it get the content.

What stands out about this is the "subscription-based access" qualification: It sounds as if you'll only be able to play these games while your Xbox Live subscription is active, as is the case with PlayStation Plus' Instant Game Collection offerings. We don't yet have all the details, like whether you'll be able to play the free games indefinitely as long as you have a Live subscription or how long the games will be offered for.Click to expand...

i do hope it is subscription based and not time sensative.. where its only good for say 1 month than you have to pay to play.

i would honestly be ok with 1 free game a month if its open access and not time sensative

Hi Carl, that's not how it works around these parts. The onus is on YOU to contact Microsoft support, and the easiest way to do this is to follow the 'support' links at the bottom of the page. Whenever I have a service issue, I simply follow the links and
if you're doing it right - presumably you're logged in to Xbox.com, yes? - you will generally be connected to a team member in live chat. Hope this helps!

Where did you get this free code for Xbox Live?

Usually these codes found in game boxes are for new players to Xbox Live. Past or existing members of Xbox live can't use them unless you create a new gamertag. Read the fine print on the card.

So you have 1 month already? If you've redeemed your code or trial successfully all you need to do is powercycle your console to sync it. Hold the power on the console for about
10 seconds until it turns off. Turn it back on and try multiplayer again. It should work.

I'm also assuming this is a new account because I do not think the 1 month free shows up otherwise?

The free month of Xbox Live gold can be applied from the account creation process if you are making a new account.

If you already have a Microsoft account and don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold paid subscription, you may be able to sign up for an Xbox Live Gold one-month free trial subscription.

Here’s how to sign up:

Sign in to the Subscriptions page with your Microsoft account.
If you’re eligible for a free trial, you’ll see Gold – 1 Month FREE Trial as a subscription offering. Select Gold – 1 Month FREE Trial, and then select Next.
If prompted, add a payment option to your account. If you already have a payment option on file, you can use that.

Important At the end of the first (free) month, your trial subscription automatically turns into a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription that renews monthly by default. The paid Xbox Live Gold subscription will renew to the payment option you
added to your account.

The Game Pass ultimate combines your Xbox Live Subscription and game together into one subscription. When you tried the 1 month you also converted your remaining subscription for the remainder of your current Xbox live Gold subscription to the Ultimate
Game Pass for free.

Does Microsoft still give out free one month subscriptions to new console purchases? I don't know how they do it on the Xbox One though. With the 360, you get 1 month free for up to 3 separate accounts on one xbox 360. Is it the same on the Xbox one?

Anyways, we did also have gold weekend for free.
