i;ve been having nothing but issues recently with my xbox one x,

first hdr playing up with flickering when switching to UHD colours - found the stupid insider program to be the issue. NOW i have a blu ray issue

just today bought a UK 4k UHD deadpool copy brand new from a shop in UK ( this shop is a known and recognised brand.

the 2 4k discs work fine yet as soon as it comes to the blu rays... only one works and the other one with all the extras ..simply loads the blue ray player screen then nothing.

i do eject the disc and get the error 0x91d70001

tried.

clearing residue cache.

used the one none working bluray disc on my old day one xbox one - works fine!

cleaned disc as said this is brand new

this is a uk disc in a uk xbox so region locking is irrevant

checked security controls all fine

its really p....ing me off consider this is the disc with a;ll the extras ....

not sure if missing something silly

Hi Guys, I suggest you to try These Troubleshooting Steps:

support.xbox.com/.../disc-error

If that not helps, try reinstalling the BlueRay App like TorridestData86 has said!

You can also try Clearing the persist Storage in the BlueRay-Settings.

If you^re using "Child-Account" check your Security Settings, may you can^t Play it because of the Age of majority..

If that all does not help. it could may be that you^re using a "Region-locked" Movie...

Games are not Region locked! But DVD and BlueRays can be Region locked!!

You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:

4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

Hey Abusivemango653! I'm from the Xbox Forum team and would be happy to try and help. If you are still enrolled in the Insider Program, the Blu-ray issue could also be related to the update build that you have as an Insider. The above steps our Ambassador
provided is a good way to report the problem from your Xbox, but we also have an Xbox Insider Subreddit
where you can post the issue and have Insider community members help and support you. If you no longer are enrolled in the Insider Program, I would simply start with a hard
reset and a power cycle to fully reboot your system and reset the power unit. Once you have done that, I would recommend you uninstall the Blu-ray app, restart your Xbox again, and then reinstall the Blu-ray player app on the Xbox. If that does not work,
then lastly, I would recommend restoring the console to factory settings by performing a

soft factory reset. Make sure to select Keep my Games & Apps when it gives you the option to chose what type of reset to do. Let me know if any of that works!

 

Hello thanks for the response.

Ive sadly done all of those things.Initially i thought it wss an insider issue and have removed myself from that program.

I then removed app, hard reset , reinstalled reinstalled same thing.. reset hard via the disc eject and button / xbox home button press . Reset . Still same issue....

Disc loads to a point i get s white semi circle and then does nothing.. on the xbox one x... yet i stick it in my day one xbox its fine...is there a known issue extras on s bluray???

Its becoming annoying as i shouldnt have to use one bluray on one device and the rest on another machine
